After my busy week of traveling, I lost my aunt. She was a wonderful person and everyone's friend. She'll be missed by more than I can imagine, but I know I'll meet most of them at her party. (her version of a funeral)
Obvious to say, but I haven't really written much. I expect to get back into things soon . She would have been the last person to want anyone grieving for too long.
Before I left for my trips, I had signed a book for her and left it with my parents for delivery. Either they'd take it to her or I'd take it in September when I went for a visit and to help her with her biography she wanted to write. Neither happened. My parents had plans to get out to her but she left us too soon. At least I know whatever she is now, she's having some beers and making friends with all the other ghosts.
